Welcome to the Enoggera and Districts Historical Society Inc. website!

Established in 1994, we are a non-profit community organisation with currently some 80 members. Our motto is: 'Helping the local community discover its history!'  We cover suburbs in North West Brisbane based around Enoggera, stretching from Newmarket through to Ferny Grove and Upper Kedron.

We have an extensive collection of reference material, in both document and photographic form, at the Kate Perry Library located at the Enoggera Memorial Hall, Wardell Street (accessible via Trundle Street). The library is open each Thursday from 9.30am to 1.00pm. Members of the Society and the Management Committee are present during this time. You are welcome to join them for coffee, tea and refreshments.

In addition, we are actively involved in the local community by conducting stalls and displays at school fetes and public celebrations during the year.

Please spend a few moments of your time viewing the other pages at this site by navigating through the links at the top of your screen.

As we do not charge for these services we depend heavily on donations and the sale of our Publications to enable us to continue our community service.

If you would like to become a member, make a donation or contribute to our historical collection - or think we may be able to assist you in some way - please contact us by phoning 0422 925 245.
